Halloween just got bigger in The West.
For the first time, Spooks & Sparks will take place on Halloween night itself, transforming The Trusts Arena in Henderson into Auckland’s ultimate Halloween destination for one unforgettable evening.
This year, having the event land on Halloween itself means an even bigger celebration is on the cards. Guests can expect a thrilling mix of live entertainment, roaming performers, delicious food, themed attractions and an outdoor movie screening, before the night culminates in the event’s signature fireworks spectacular, perfectly choreographed to music. All this is supported by a sponsorship from The Trusts
The Trusts Arena CEO Marcus Reynolds says the timing adds an extra layer of excitement to an already popular night.
“For years, Spooks & Sparks has been a highlight on our events calendar, but having it fall on Halloween this year makes it even more exciting,” says Reynolds. “We’re looking forward to welcoming the community for a night of incredible entertainment, fantastic costumes and a fireworks spectacular that has become a real favourite for Auckland families.”

Earlybird tickets are on sale now, with more entertainment announcements, attractions and event experiences to be revealed in the lead-up to Halloween.
