Eight venues. Eight communities. Junes Supporters Club round-up.

In Titirangi, Bricklane Restaurant & Bar backed Woodlands Park Community Kindergarten with magnetic construction tiles to support enrichment for our tamariki.

Out at Huia, iTi chipped in $500 to help the Huia Fishing and Family Club bring their community together for a Matariki celebration.

The Taphouse backed Playcentre Aotearoa Glendene with childrens books for their library, giving 80 tamariki access to stories that reflect their lives and cultures.

In Kelston, Workshop Bar got the Western Magpies Softball Club a six-month training membership at Ballpark West, covering the full pre-season and playing season for junior and senior squads.

@goodhomelincoln backed Waitakere City Rugby Football & Sports Club Inc.s Junior Referee Programme, training secondary school students to referee junior games and building confidence and leadership for 300+ club members.

Greenfields Bar kept the North West Toy Library running with support for librarian salaries.

The Hangar helped WomenzShed build shelving, storage and workspaces at their Henderson facility, creating a safer and better-equipped environment for 50-75 West Auckland women to learn woodworking and trade skills over the next year.

And Mr. Illingsworth backed Te Atatū Intermediates water polo team with registration fees for the Tim Sonderer Memorial Water Polo Tournament, reducing costs for the 10 students heading to West Wave.

Something special is taking root in The West! 🌱

We were lucky enough to join Triangle Park Community Teaching Garden recently for the very first community planting day of their new Food Forest. Alongside volunteers and local whānau, we helped pop the first seedlings into the whenua, marking the start of a syntropic food forest that will nourish the community for generations.

The first plants going in are support species, the humble heroes that build healthy soil, attract pollinators and set the scene for fruit and food trees to thrive later on.

Its a beautiful example of community-led action, and were proud to support the kaupapa through our Your West Support Fund.
