Could you be Bethells Beach's next surf lifeguard? 🌊
The crew at Bethells Beach Surf Life Saving Patrol are on the lookout for volunteers for the 2026/2027 summer season, and they'd love you to join them. Whether you're a teen, a parent, or somewhere in your 20s, 30s, 40s and beyond, there's a place for you on patrol. No need to be a competitive athlete, just keen to learn and look after one of Aotearoa's busiest rescue beaches.
You'll pick up real qualifications, find new ways to enjoy the surf, and become part of a welcoming team that genuinely loves what they do.
Training kicks off term three on Thursday nights, 6:30–8:30pm at West Wave, Henderson. Spaces fill fast.
