Each month we are proud to offer support to local events that go to keeping our community organisations alive.

Across the month, The Trusts contributed gift cards, product, and merchandise to nine local moments of need.

Rutherford College received gift cards toward their Kotuku Foundation fundraiser. Glenburn Figure Skating Club and The Huia Settlers Museum both received gift card support for their own fundraising efforts, the latter going toward much-needed museum repairs.

The Trusts Arena received gift cards in support of their Pink Ribbon Breakfast Fundraiser, a cause that’s clearly resonated across The West this season. Glass Ceiling Arts Collective also received gift card support for their own fundraising work, continuing their commitment to inclusive arts programming in the community.

Piha Bowling Club and Glen Eden Bowling both received support for their Pink Ribbon Breakfast Fundraisers, with Piha receiving gift cards and product donations, and Glen Eden receiving product from Trade.

The biggest single contribution in May went to Visionwest’s Ōhinga Tū programme, which received merchandise support for their Youth Week 2026 event at Trading Place in Henderson. The event created a welcoming space for rangatahi and the wider community to connect and take part in meaningful programmes.

None of these are headline-grabbing grants. They’re the everyday side of being community-owned. A gift card here, a product donation there, all adding up to a community that’s just a little better supported.
