If you’re part of a West Auckland sports club, school, charity or community group with a great idea that could use a little extra backing, The Trusts want to hear from you.
Our Supporters Club is one of the ways we help local organisations doing good things across the West, offering 8 monthly donations of up to $500 to help cover everything from everyday running costs to community events and new initiatives. Historically, the Supporters Club was funded through our eight hospitality venues. Now we’re expanding the programme to include our Liquorland and Super Liquor retail stores too with 2 stores nominating a recipient each month. That brings it up to 10 outlets getting behind local causes and creating more opportunities for West Auckland each month.
That could mean helping a local sports club with equipment or running costs, giving a school a hand with an upcoming event, supporting a community organisation to get a new idea off the ground, or backing one of the many groups working to make the West an even better place to live. For us, it’s also about making sure the support generated through our businesses finds its way back into the neighbourhoods they’re part of.
“Bringing our retail business into the Supporters Club was all about stepping up our support across the board,” says Allan Pollard, CEO of The Trusts. “We’re looking forward to seeing even more West Aucklanders benefit from the programme throughout FY27.” Supporters Club applications are open every month, with eligible organisations able to receive funding up to three times during the financial year.
