Mark your calendars for March 15 2025, when the Green Bay Community House transforms into Race Headquarters. From there, you’ll set off on foot or bike, travelling through the neighbourhood to complete tasks at challenging locations. Each task will bring you closer to the final puzzle—solve it, and race your way to the finish line!
But the fun doesn’t stop there! Celebrate your achievement with a well-earned sausage sizzle, bouncy castle, spot prizes, and more at the finish line.
This isn’t just an action-packed day out for the whānau—it’s also a chance to learn about resilience in a fun and engaging way. Brought to you by Green Bay Community House and Green Bay Emergency Resilience, they have teamed up to incorporate vital emergency preparedness knowledge into the race. The challenge locations are based on neighbourhood info points—places that will be crucial in an emergency. By making your way to these points and playing resilience-themed games, you’ll not only have fun but also gain valuable insights into keeping your household prepared for future disasters.
