Every month, each of The Trusts’ eight venues puts up to $500 toward a local initiative they choose themselves. It’s the Supporters Club, and May’s round shows just how wide that support stretches.
Blockhouse Bay Bowls was backed by Bricklane Bar & Restaurant in New Lynn with a cordless drill and accessories, replacing outdated equipment so volunteers and workers can carry out repairs without the delays that come with unfit tools.
Titirangi RSA was supported by iTi in Titirangi for their Carols by Candlelight at Waikumete Cemetery this December, helping keep one of the area’s most loved community traditions going.
New Windsor School received support from The Taphouse in Avondale toward a hāngī for their 5am Matariki community celebration on 30 June, an event expected to bring together around 200 people from across West Auckland.
The Huia Settlers Museum was backed by Workshop in Kelston with branded mugs and tea towels for fundraising at market days, supporting the museum’s events programme for the rest of 2026.
Just Kruizin Netball Club received new uniforms and equipment for their junior teams from The Good Home in Henderson, benefiting more than 130 members across the 2026 season.
Recreate NZ was supported by Greenfields in Westgate for their nine-week ‘On the Move’ active learning programme for West Auckland youth with disabilities, running from 20 July to 25 September.
Western Knights Club received winter clothing for around 300 vulnerable West Aucklanders from The Hangar in Henderson, distributed through organised collection drives in early June.
And Waitākere Cricket Club was backed by Mr Illingsworth in Te Atatū Peninsula with upgraded kitchen appliances, improving functionality for club activities, events, and wider community use.
