What a weekend for West Auckland sport! The Henderson Squash Club is celebrating a huge victory after their F/J Grade Team travelled to Rotorua to take on some of the best clubs from across Aotearoa, including Turangi, Morrinsville, Masterton, Surf City (Gisborne), and Devoy (Tauranga).
After a week of intense, action-packed matches at Geyser City, the team came out on top, claiming the National Superchamps title and proudly bringing the trophy back to Henderson! This win wasn’t just about skill on the court; it was about pride, teamwork, and community.
The Trusts and Greenfields Westgate are proud to support Henderson Squash Club through our Supporters Club fund by contributing towards the team’s uniform needs, ensuring the team was kitted out in a confident, unified, and sharp look as they represented the West.
But the real victory goes beyond the scoreboard. Over the week, these athletes have grown in skill, resilience, and sportsmanship, inspiring younger players and showing that with dedication and determination, anything is possible.
