West Auckland Riding for the Disabled is proud and excited to announce that their Covered Riding Facility and Community Room at 215 Henderson Valley Road, Henderson, Auckland, is now officially available for hire! This milestone represents the culmination of over two decades of dedication, community support, and fundraising efforts aimed at enhancing accessibility and therapeutic services for individuals with disabilities.
The realisation of their Covered Riding Facility was made possible through the generous support of various funding bodies and the unwavering commitment of the community. Whether you’re hosting a training session, community workshop, or simply need an indoor arena or meeting space, their facilities are designed to meet a range of needs with accessibility and comfort in mind.
Facility Features
Indoor Arena
- Size: 63m x 26m Olympic-standard surface
- Features: Viewing platform, accessible toilets, and full wheelchair access
- Ideal for: Riding events, sports training, community demonstrations, and more
Community Room
- Capacity: Seating for up to 50 people
- Includes: Kitchen facilities and accessible toilets

Outdoor Arena
- Size: 60m x 20m
- A great space for outdoor riding or open-air events
