The Waitakere Triathlon & Multisport Club (WTMC) extends a heartfelt thank you to The Trusts Supporters Club for supporting their Glow Run event held on August 28th. The vibrant event, hosted at The Hangar, saw participants of all ages—and even some furry friends—taking part in a 5km run/walk along Central Park Drive.
The course featured a festive touch with multi-coloured lights and glow sticks adorning the cycleway under the bridge, creating a spectacularly illuminated path for runners and walkers. The evening concluded with a gathering back at The Hangar, where attendees enjoyed drinks, nibbles, and exercise-themed spot prizes such as massage balls and gym equipment.
The event was marked by a fantastic turnout and memorable moments, including several participants completing their first 5km run. The WTMC Committee, led by Rainbow, expressed their gratitude, emphasising that the event’s success was made possible by The Trusts Supporters Club’s contribution.
