Introducing our new Elected Member Community Support Co-ordinator – Phieng (pronounced pea-young) Phongsa.
The focus of Phieng’s role will be on fostering positive relationships between elected officials and the community.
This position acts as a bridge between local elected members and the communities, providing strong administrative support, effective communication, understanding, and collaboration. This role will support elected members to assist them to further develop the community relationships and the benefits that The Trusts deliver to The West.
The Community Support Coordinator role serves to create a meaningful impact on the relationship between elected officials and the community, fostering collaboration and driving positive change.
Phieng will spend the next few weeks getting familiar with our business and getting to know our teams and the Elected Members of Portage and Waitākere.
