COVID-19: Keeping Our Team Safe
The health and wellbeing of our team members has always been our highest priority. To help protect our team members, we’ve changed how we’re operating at the moment.
Shifts have been designed to limit exposure for our team members, and the processes we have put in place are to ensure our team members feel safe while working.
Team members have been provided with hand sanitizer, disinfectant as well as gloves and masks should they wish to wear them. All team members are required to wash their hands regularly and maintain a strict two metre distance between themselves and customers at all times.
We have put in place additional security at all stores, to help with people management and to protect all our team members and customers.
The physical, mental and emotional wellbeing of our team is very important. We are regularly checking in with all our team members as we understand it is a difficult time for them to be working.
Some of the other tips and advice in we have been giving to our team members include:
- Talking with family and friends each day
- Trying to maintain routine in their lives
- If they are feeling overwhelmed, confused, anxious or unsafe to reach out to either their manager, our support office team or to reach out to our Employee Assistance Programme.
To help our staff, we ask that all of our customers be patient and kind as they work to help everyone.
