Last year, with the help of the community, Visionwest gave more than 2,800 adults and 3,300 children essential food to get them through Christmas - and every child received a gift they would otherwise have missed out on.
This year, Visionwest is doing it all again.
Join in to make sure children who would otherwise go without, can experience the simple joy of opening a gift this Christmas.
Giving Day on November 15 is about raising money for youngsters’ presents this festive season. Every dollar you give will be matched by supporters including The Trusts. That means, if you give $50, we get to buy $100 dollars’ worth of toys; you give $100 and $200 can be spent to bring joy to children this Christmas.
From 10 am, Kiwis will be banding together in 24 hours of generosity. The money raised will help buy new toys which will be distributed through Visionwest's Christmas From The Heart to whānau in need.
