The role is set to forge stronger links between the community and the licensing trusts. It involves developing a strategy to maximise the impact of our funding programme as well as looking at other areas we can leverage to strengthen community engagement.
Lynette has a wealth of experience with 18 years as Sport Waitakere’s Chief Executive Officer and six years serving as a member of the Waitākere Licensing Trust.
She is passionate about making West Auckland a great place to live and work. She sees fantastic opportunities for The Trusts to play a significant role in achieving this vision.
Allan Pollard, Trusts CEO, says Lynette is a hugely respected member of the community. “We are thrilled to have someone with her mana and knowledge to help us bring the community closer to the organisation.”
Lynette welcomes the new opportunity. “I am looking forward to working alongside both the great team at The Trusts as well as our community to make a real difference in West Auckland,” she says.
