The Trusts are excited to launch the first Super Liquor in The West.
The store will grace our former West Liquor building at 45 Henderson Valley Road, Henderson which was temporarily closed for restoration. It will open next Wednesday, 17 May at 11 am.
The store debut follows a new partnership between The Trusts and Super Liquor to change several West Liquor outlets to Super Liquor franchises. They will still be operated by The Trusts but will be part of the national chain of Super Liquor franchises.
The Trusts plan to change all our retail stores to Super Liquor and Liquorland brands within the coming 12 months, in a move designed to boost consumer choice.
Allan Pollard, CEO of The Trusts, says The Trusts will retain ownership of the new franchised stores, allowing us to continue to fund hundreds of local charities, sporting and community groups.
Our first 100 customers on opening day will get a free first aid kit courtesy of The Trusts.
Allan says replacement of the new stores is part of a million-dollar retail upgrade of our sites over the coming 12 months. “This change programme is an extension of The Trusts’ strategic growth strategy, with the move designed to create significant cost efficiencies for us and remove the cost of running our own retail brand,” he says. “Our expansion and growth will help us get to a point where we can give back up to $5 million annually to local community groups where the need for financial support is at a critical level. We are also committed to bringing greater choice to West Auckland consumers and maintaining our primary role as responsible liquor retailers in the region.”
